Help needed about splitting sound output

I have a question, is it possible to play a music on speakers with a program and with the same program or an other to play a different music and to hear it into a headphone.<br />It's for a party to mix music. So I would like to play music in speakers and hear in my headphones other music which would be turned after.

Separating Background Music from Lyrics in a Song

I'd like to remove the lyrics from Cascada - Every Time We Touch, and can't find an instrumental version. A friend needs that song for a dance she's doing, I personally don't like it myself Laughing<br /><br />I didn't think it was possible, but technology is evolving so fast it's hard to keep up. Can it be done? I was thinking if maybe seperating the two different 'layers' or whatever, but wouldn't they be flattened before shipping the song?<br /><br />If anyone has any comments, ideas and info please may you reply. I'll be very greatful!

Program for editing mp3 tune for own ringtone

Is there possibly a program for a moron like me to edit an mp3 tune so i can use on my mobile phone. you know what i'm saying, there's a great song, but the lead in is for ever and before the tune / lyrics really kick in, phone stops ! Doh !!<br /><br />Would really like to try (and i say try, as i prob wouldnt have a clue how too) and if there is such a program, would really appreciate someone pointing me in right direction
