if 2 people are sharing a DSL connection...is it possible that one of them install a program that make his computer take almost all the connection speed..?
note that this is not a request i just want to know if it is possible

Nothing like that but some speed limiter programs are there. Forgot their names Very Happy With them, you can limit a speed like 8KBPS for one and the rest for the other. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteIf he is using a P2P app...he will get all the bandwidth...for example: Flashget, Utorrent, etc...It happens to me all the time...I start downloading stuff and I can hear the people at my office complaining about the internet...when the complain are getting to the IT manager I hit exit and everything goes back to normal
