downloaded 8 part avi?

i downloaded an 8 part avi...was expecting a rar but didnt pay attention and ive tried joining with several programs but i still have no idea how to...they dont look like video files but when i delete the 001,002 and so on out of the name it turns into a vid file...but i cant name them all the same...help! ? xD

Transfering files from on partition to the other

I'm about to install windows vista on my computer,but I want to create another partition with windows xp installed on it so I can transfer my valued files to it in case of a catastrophe while installing vista.<br />So I guess my question is: Can I transfer files from one partition to the other? And if I have two partitions with xp will it affect my master boot record?

How To open .cab files?

I downloaded a game .<br />But the problem is that I don't exactly have admin privileges.<br />SO I extract the game files, not install them.<br /><br />I extracted the iso and there is a huge file called 'data2.cab', which I presume contains most of the game data.<br />I can't open it with WinRAR. Is there any proggie to open this and extract the data within?<br />Other .cab files such as 'data1.cab' and 'engine32.cab' also don't open.

tryin to extract an iso. from 18 rar. parts<br /><br />it gets as far as part 18 but then i gt this error message:<br /><br />SHYP2.part18.rar: CRC failed in the encrypted file HippieII.iso (wrong password ?)<br /><br />using WinRAR to extract it, could tht be the problem?<br /><br />tried downloading part 18 from all the different servers but they all get the same error message<br /><br />rekon i hav to download them all again?
