iPod touch 8GB blackra1n help

i just got my ipod touch 8GB and i want to jailbreak it, i was told to use the blackra1n up but im having problems, first i had a missing dll "qtcf.dll" and then i put it in the system32 dir and it didnt work so then i was told to put it in the same dir as blackra1n.exe so i did that and now im getting a new error "The procedure entry point QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in the dynamic link library QTCF.dll." and i cant get it to work.

Computer won't start,asks to enter in safe mode but restarts

Black screen (black screen of death) upon start up, computer won't run, help?<br /><br />I got this issue after an unfortunate power cut, the system started up but then restarted again unexpectedly, after that i got this 'black screen of death'. Everytime I start up my computer it ask to enter in 'safe mode', 'safe mode with command prompt' or 'last know configuration settings' or something in that sort.
