Trouble connect to netgear DG834GSP rounter

I have trouble connecting to netgear DG834GSP V3, the trouble is that I cannot connect to the rounter. I have plugged LAN Port to the pc and one from internet port wire have already plugged in the master socket. It don't have the CD driver so it should usually works but I don't know how my twat brother done it before and it worked. I opened the internet explorer and I have input the router ip address in the address bar which it is http://192.168.0.1 and http://192.168.1.1 and pressed Enter. A small box appears that said the network connection is offline. Something got to do with the internet connection issue (Internet options). I don't know how to add one so that would connect to the rounter??<br /><br /><br />The rounter have connected to the ISP and its works fine but i have trouble connecting to the rounter from his pc. I have also tried ipconfig/all and there are no rounter information.

i have a new cupboard showcase thing for my lcd arrangement, and it is arranged such that my ps3 is right next my music system speaker. It is written 'magnetically shielded' on my speakers, which i presume means it doesn't affect any electronic devices. But has anyone faced any problems. There is no space between my ps3 and speaker. But working with one problem..<br /><br />It doesn't always fit on every screen.<br />It currently only exactly fits on 1024x768 screens.<br />How do I get it that way that it automaticly nicely fits to both 4:3 and 16:9 screens.. Boot Problem - Laptop will boot and logoff

My Laptop was Hijack by several virus-worms, I was not able to use most of the shortcuts in the Control Panel and most of the services would not work i.e. windows updated, add and remove programs, about 90% of the controls were hijack.<br /><br />csrsc.exe – was clean using:<br />Autorun-virus-removal tool<br />Registry Easy<br />RegGenie<br /><br />At this point some of the services and control panel works, still on the system:<br />“idvbwt.exe, cuvgmt.exe, fsgwyq.exe and worse of all, “cftu.exe”, still running on the Laptop”<br /><br />Most Commercial AV were unable to detect and clean the above, only ClamWin found all 4 virus-worms and some others –“ this is where the boot problem “May” have started”, ClamWin was set to remove – my mistake – not to quarantine the virus – at this point it may have remove some entries of the registry or files, its only my suspicion, at the same time I was following all the advice possible in how to remove the virus, base on the previous experience with the removal of the csrsc.exe, which it keep coming back, until entries in the registry were delete.<br /><br />From ClamWin log:<br />C:\WINDOWS\system32\autorun.in: Worm.Autorun-1792 FOUND C:\WINDOWS\system32\autorun.i: Worm.Autorun-1792 FOUND C:\WINDOWS\system32\cftu.exe: Trojan.Autoit-72 FOUND<br />C:\Program Files\ftprush_ansi\ftprush.exe: Trojan.PcClient-2361 FOUND<br /><br />Keeping that in mind, I also delete one entry in the register with may have contributed to the problem, base on the advice of the following site: h***://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-7831en.html, their advice was to check and delete the following entries in the registry:<br /><br />HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN\ HotKeysCmds<br />HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN\ Msmsgs<br />HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN\ cftu<br />HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENTVERSION\WINLOGON\USERINIT\ userinit<br />HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN\ Yahoo Messengger<br /><br /><br />I only found and delete:<br />HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENTVERSION\WINLOGON\USERINIT\ userinit<br /><br /><br />At this point I am not sure if it was the same as above or something that may have look a like… big mistake on my part, I think…<br /><br />By the way, during the above process I have set to “Off” the system restore, as most advice to do, during the scan and removal of the virus-worms.<br /><br />Once I restart the system I found the next problem:<br /><br />The Laptop, an IBM T23, ThinkPad, Pentium III, Fat32 would start normally<br />The welcome screen came on<br />I log as: Administrator, put my password…<br />Loading your personal setting screen…<br />The windows desktop theme came on, nothing else…<br />Then the Logging off blue screen came on<br />And then back to the welcome blue screen where I have started<br /><br />I try to start on a safe mode – same situation as above<br />I try the different menus on the safe mode, command prompts, last known section – nothing will work.<br /><br />I figure the boot record may get screwed during the cleaning process– I figure I would repair the boot records using the Win XP CD with the R, Repair option:<br /><br />Check first the bootcfg – did not work<br />Fixboot - did not work<br /><br />Fixmbr, which is not recommended<br /><br />Writing a new master boot record on physical drive<br />\device\harddisk0\partition0<br /><br />The new master boot record has been successfully written<br /><br />It did not work either, and then I check again<br />Bootcfg<br />1 “Microsoft Windows XP Professional”<br />Load Option: /fast detect /NoExecute =Opt In<br />Os Location: C:\windows<br /><br />Then I remember what happen when I try to use the fixmbr:<br />“This compute appear to a non-standard or invalid master boot record<br /><br />Also checking with the command “map”<br /><br />\devese\harddisk0\partition1<br /><br />No wonder, why the fixmbr did not work:<br />Writing a new master boot record on physical drive<br />\device\harddisk0\partition0<br />Which is different than the computer is using to start.<br /><br />This is where I am now<br /><br />I know or think, that some entries got screw that relay directly to the boot record: : /fast detect /NoExecute =Opt In<br /><br /><br />I have no idea how to fix the problem, I can not access the regedit, since the boot process would not I allow me in to check the last entry that I delete, it may be or it may look like:<br /><br />HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENTVERSION\WINLOGON\USERINIT\ userinit<br /><br />But I can not be sure<br /><br />Please help…<br /><br />I know all the files and program are on the hard drive since I also run the chkdsk with the XP CD – I also run XP Live CD to make sure the files and programs were in fact on the hard disk…

Games shut down pc

I've had this problem for a while now and I'm really wondering how to fix this, because i want to play a lot games that I'm unable to play because they shut down my computer.<br /><br />First of all, i'm on Windows 7 64bit final version. And all the games that I have problems with I have never tested on Vista.<br /><br />My spec:<br /><br /> Mobo: ASUS P5Q<br /> Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.7GHz<br /> Memory: 4096MB RAM<br /> Hard Drive: 2 TB Total<br /> Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 768 MB<br /> OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit <br /><br /><br /><br />What happens:<br /><br />Race On:<br />Game start. I get the intros and then when I get on the menu screen it crashes. Sometimes it doesn't crash directly but after clicking on one of the buttons. Result: Shuts down computer and let it restart giving me the "windows didn't shut down properly" black screen after bios boot. I was able to get in game once and race for ± 30 min before returning to menu where it made it happen again<br /><br />Dungeons And Dragons: Online:<br />Mostly I don't get any problems with it but sometimes it shuts down my computer just after login in. Same result as first one.<br /><br />Tropico 3:<br />Crashes during intros or if I quickly close them down it crashes on the menu loading screen. Giving me the same shut down result.<br /><br />Risen:<br />Once in menu it crashes. First time I was able to do the settings then it crashes after clicking "new game" now it just crashes after the intros, so when I get the menu. Same shutdown...<br /><br /><br /><br />So the following this I've tried and then restarted the game. I've done this with all the games that gave me this problem.<br /><br />Compatible issue, set it on VISTA or XP<br />Updated my Bios drivers<br />Updated my GPU driver (1st driver gave me the error, got the latest of the internet then a beta and then few days later another new release all giving me the same result.)<br />Updated Drivers of my chipset / mobo<br /><br /><br />I've done these all in steps and tested in step all without giving any result. I find it very strange that I only get this very anoying shutdown because I got a bunch of other games just working perfectly fine without having to do any of these things!<br />FIFA 10, 18 Wheels of steel Extreme, Batman Arkham Asylum, Darkest of Days, Divinity II - Ego Draconis, Need For Speed: Shift, Operation Flashpoint - Dragon Rising, Mini Ninjas, Prototype, Red Faction Guerrila, World of Warcraft, Empire Total War, Left 4 Dead, ...<br /><br />I know I could do a dual boot, but I don't want to ... Always switching because of a few games that don't wanna work but do work on other people's windows 7

I bought an HP dv5 laptop with Norton Internet Security 2009 with 60 days complimentary live update. Now I only have 4 days left. I'm not sure of what I should do after the trial expires.<br /><br />My options are:<br />1. Uninstall and use Microsoft Internet Essentials<br />2. When you go to Sharing options you should be able to choose sharing options for users or groups or objects. There should be degault users and groups like: Administrator, user, you etc. and for each and every one of it we are able to set level of access privileges Full, Read or Write. But we need one more group/user that we are to set with Full accessibility. It's "Everyone" user. You must add it by yourself in the list and give it Full privileges. I am using GOM player now for over a year and I never had any problems with it. Now, since a few weeks it can't play the new encoded .mkv files. I Have six star wars movies and was looking to burn them all to one disc in AVI form. I want to do a complete reformat of my computer, I got a 500GB SATA HD recently to back everything up - I thought it would be simple just open up and pop it in but my computer already has two 250GBs taking up the bays and there are no extra power connectors so I cant hook up the 500GB alongside the other 2 and backup from there.<br /><br />I was thinking maybe I could plug out the 2 250s, pop in the 500 and load up windows onto it and then reconnect one of the other hds and browse from there or would have cause some kind of corruption since the 2 250s only make up one drive in windows?

Hi, I'm trying to do an exercise and have just been introduced to the very basics of SQL. I've made 3 different tables and now I want to add relations between them.<br /><br />My question is how to make a foreign key? I have a Table "Person" and a table "Phone number". In Table "Person" my primary key is ID and in Table "Phone" my primary key is Phone number. I want key to also be a foreign key that points on ID in Table "Person".<br /><br />In order to do so I added ID as a column in table "Phone number" as well, right clicked on it and chose relationships. Then I choose Person as the "primary key table" and refered to ID as the primary key and on the right side of the screen I picked ID as the foreign key in "Phone" table.<br /><br />So no I have a ID in Phone table that is a foreign key to an ID in Person table... that's not what I want :S Any suggestions?

I searched Google, it didn't find what I needed.<br /><br />Back when I was into programming a lot, (high school cause thats when I had programming class) I use to use this code that was the body of the 'index.php' file so that it called on files. This would make it easy because I wouldn't have to make the main layout on every other file.<br /><br />I believe I had to make the links something like 'index.php?page=WHATEVER' That would call the file whatever.html and it will show were the PHP code was written on the 'index.php'<br /><br />I have totally forgotten the code and Google didn't help me. Anyone know what I am talking about and think they can help me by supplying the code?

I Have just bought a laptop and psp witch as you know both have wifi.<br /><br />I have a cable broadband connection connected to my pc with a bog standard Ethernet cable.<br /><br />I was wondering how to get my laptop and psp to access the internet.<br /><br />Could someone please tell me if this would work so i do not waste money buying equipment.<br /><br />Right here we go. I i were to buy a edimax wireless access point with 5 port switch and connect my cable modem to that, then from that to my pc would that work, And let my main pc use the net like normal and let my laptop and psp connect wireless<br /><br />Or would i need to connect a wireless access point to my broadband, then connect my main pc to the internet via the access point with a usb adapter or pci adapter. I am pretty noob at changing and wmv to avi or whatever ... But this time i need to learn cuz my DVD is being gay and doesnt want to play the wmv file... o.O<br /><br />The thing is .. I've always used Nero Vision if I'm wantin to burn a .avi movie to a DVD. It decodes it and then burns it to the DVD.<br /><br />Now not all the time, but sometimes.. I always get the odd out of sync or part of the ending on the film will be missing. Is it Nero Vision or the film itself. Even tho I've watched the film on me PC...
