Delete pre-installed DELL Vista laptop

I got a DELL laptop with Vista pre-installed. I have installed Windows 7 later on.<br />Kaspersky found a possible keylogger on Win7 partition.<br /><br />Anyway I want to completely wipe out my HDD and install windows 7 only. Think I'm gonna use Hirens Boot CD for it.<br />I don't intent to use Vista again, ever. So I think I'm gonna wipe out everything on the HDD including OEM and recovery partition. How about boot sector?<br /><br />How about HDD password? Isn't DELL using such password?

BOOTMGR MISSING

my computer got infected by virus or god knows what so im trying to reformat it myself. since i cant do anything on the computer, i took out the hardrive and format it using my laptop. so now the hardrive is completely empty right? i put it back in the computer, put the xp cd in to boot but the error,<br /><br /><br />BOOTMGR MISSING<br />press ctrl + alt + del to restart.

How To Set Proxy server at home?

If I run a 10MB/s line at home, for instance, is it possible to connect from the office, to my own network, and actually download files through my own network; from my office? Kind a sucks, the office got a line on over a 250 mb/s, and downloading stuff there would been awesome, but Rapidshare is blocked, as usual.<br /><br />I was wondering though, if it's possible to just download files through my own network, through my proxy server basically?

why doesn't Firefox remember my user name & passwords

Trouble connect to netgear DG834GSP rounter

I have trouble connecting to netgear DG834GSP V3, the trouble is that I cannot connect to the rounter. I have plugged LAN Port to the pc and one from internet port wire have already plugged in the master socket. It don't have the CD driver so it should usually works but I don't know how my twat brother done it before and it worked. I opened the internet explorer and I have input the router ip address in the address bar which it is http://192.168.0.1 and http://192.168.1.1 and pressed Enter. A small box appears that said the network connection is offline. Something got to do with the internet connection issue (Internet options). I don't know how to add one so that would connect to the rounter??<br /><br /><br />The rounter have connected to the ISP and its works fine but i have trouble connecting to the rounter from his pc. I have also tried ipconfig/all and there are no rounter information.
