i just installed Windows Vista Final Build 6000, and when i come up to install my sound card, it says "you do not have a Creative sound card in your computer", BUT I HAVE!!!!, so i reinstalled to XP and tried to install the sound card, and it installed good,<br /><br />So i am just wandering (and please help me this ppl, cuz i really love vista and i want it to work on my sound card) y in the world Windows Vista wont even reconginese my sound card. ok i have a:<br /><br />CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 SOUND CARD AND I WAS RUNNING WINDOWS VISTA FINAL BUILD 6000

Resolution Problem for my DVD RIPS

i'm making some more of my DVDS..and gonna upload them.<br />what resolution in AutoGK should i put it at??<br />i know people dont want widescreen, anything but that... whats the correct res for fullscreen?<br />it seems that a rip i did of saving private ryan was: 416x240,i take it, thats is not good, i'm set to do @ least another 5 movies, one of them being: Stephen King's ROSE RED.<br /><br /><br />what resolution should it be for fullscreen??

What is contained in a winxp System Info File?

I am having a technical issue with my "registered" application of Acronis Workstation. Acronis wants me to create a System Information File (*.NFO);<br />Open Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information; then send it to them.<br /><br />I took a quick look at that file... It's huge and revealing. I haven't read through it line by line and would prefer not to.<br /><br />I am curious...<br /><br />Does anyone know if there is information contained in that system.nfo file that would compromise the security of my pc or my lan? Are there saved passwords contained in that file? S/N for applications. Could it be detemined if ware z is on my machine? are there additional security issues which i might not have mentioned?
