Basically, after a while on the computer, my computer will suddenly freeze up, blue screen, then restart. I've tried using advanced system optimizer to clean out all the crap, virus scanners, malware scanners etc etc. After, they always seem to work for a while, but before I know it, it's restarted and theirs nothing I can do.

I can't even note down what blue screen it is. When I send an error report, Microsoft website says it's a driver problem, so I don't know if that helps atall.

Please help with any solutions, they will all be appreciated. I can't system restore either because I don't know how long it's been present, quite a while really.

    what OS you using ? 7 ? vista ? xp ?

will it go into safe mode ?

To get into Safe mode, as the computer is booting, before the windows logo comes up, press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu"
With some computers, if you press and hold a key as the computer is booting you will get a stuck key message. If this occurs, instead of pressing and holding the "F8 key", tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu.

Use Hirens BootCD and test your RAM and HD. When you have the OS running look at your temperatures check to see if you are not overheating.

I think your problem is more a virus then anything else, what you need to do is update your anti virus and maleware apps, you need to turn off your system restore (this is very important a virus backs themselves up in the system restore and then reloads on a reboot)
Now you need to reboot in safe mode and start to clean things, you need to M/T your Temp folder and do a disk clean up run your antivirus and malware cleaner, go to c:drive and click on properties and then tools and ask to run a error check, finally hit the start then run type in MSCONFIG go to the start tab and unheck anything that doesn't look right, you want to leave just the firewall anti virus and the ccApp boxes checked and then reboot, after the disk check and your systems restarts answer accept and yes in the box and then restart your system restore

well i know it must be getting automatically restart...follow these steps..

Right Click on “My Computer” and goto “Properties”. Then goto the “Advanced” tab and under the headline “Startup and Recovery”, press the “Settings” button. Untick the “Automatically Restart” box and press Ok.

so when next time any blue screen happens...you will be able to note it... after that..... write in paper the problem...

    eg-: tcpip.sys(stop 89875894594589x9676897)

something like this well it uis just an example.. write down everything ....aftre that.. go to this site....

    http://search.microsoft.com

type the error....which ur blue screen is showing...and i hope you will find any solution ..if not then let me know..

i had that SAME exact blue screen for as long as i could remember on my old rig. all you have to do is either update your video card drivers to latest, or if they ARE latest, rollback to the previous versions.
