    Well lets say you have a 128 bit interface capible of 20 gigbytes per second, and lets say you have a 256 bit interface that is also capible of 20 Gigabytes per second. well i would rather go with the first one becuase the card is going to be cheaper to produce because of less traces to the chip itself and its also easier to manufacture then a 256 bit interface. there is also less noise issues to deal with when you have a 128 bit interface so less r&d costs are less, this will get passed on to the consumer.
    but now here is the kicker if you are talking about two diffrent types of memory lets just say the first one is rambus xdr and the second one is ddr3. i would probably want the second one because it has less latency then the first. well you really have to look at performance charts in order to make a real dicision.hope this helps a little.

    256bit memory Interface Is the way to go......It's just plain faster.
