Zone Alarm Won't Shutdown
I'm trying to shut down zone alarm so I can update it, but every time I try, it says "Please Close All Dialogs Before Shutting Down" I have no idea what dialogs it's talking about. Also, it says that the update client is running, but it has been "running" for more than 9 hours. Also, I can't run the update because "Another Install or Update Is Running" which it's not. I also can't uninstall it because "The install is already running"
Go into your Zone Alarm firewall panel, to the Overview Tab, then to Preferences, scroll down until you see Check for Updates, remove the dot from Automatically box and put a dot in Manually box. A pop up will show, just say yes to the change and you should not have anymore reminders about upgrading anymore.
