My idea is basically to build a wifi network at home, without buying an access point.
I do have wifi adapters in both my PC and notebook, and have made an Ad-Hoc network.
Do you know any software to do this, or how to make it modifying my existing hardware?
Either this is too complicated, or nobody wants to help...
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what you're planning to do.

In case you don´t want to see the video here is what you have to do:
Disable all network adapters except WLAN and Ethernet.
Go to Ethernet properties - > advanced - > enable internet conection sharing and then hit OK
Go to Wlan properties - > configure - > advanced
Choose your operation rate a/b/g
Chose Access Point on "Device Typer"
Chose Infrastucture on "STA Network type"
Then hit OK
Go to Wlan properties - > wireless networks and add a preferred network with the SSID you want then hit OK
