I would definitely burn eveything important to disc before starting. If you do an upgrade and/or opt to keep the XP available, you'll end up with a large vista file called windows.old, this is so you can goback dont think xp would have a windows.new file for if you change your mind again. As I see it, you've nothing to lose from a clean vista install if you have burned everything important and it is good practice to burn down data on a regular basis in case of accidents. If you decide that Vista is not for you, how long does a fresh install of xp take? I do that anally to properly clear out accumulated rubbish and I'm always pleased at how much smoother everything is.
just put them on other driver and backup it up.. and install ur os
ReplyDeleteOr just put the dvd in and hit "upgrade"...it will keep everything...
