I think it depends on what type of connections your laptop is capable of of. Definitely HDMI over S-video if your laptop of capable of it. I have an S-video connection and the picture isn't very good. and im sure you know gom or vlc for the .mkv
If your laptop has HDMI use that. My laptop only has S-video port so i use that while i watch it on VLC player and works good. You gotta get another cable for the audio so you plug it on the headphone jack too.

ReplyDeleteso my friends laptop Dell inspiron 15 has an HDMI socket. So will the quality on TV will be 100% as the resolution of that MKV file?
