New Motherboard doesn't beep, but boots into windows

And I can use it. This is my new set up:

Asrock x79 extreme6
16 gigs ddr3 ram @1600mhz
corei7 3820
850 PSU

I can't figure out what could be wrong with this set up. Also, the north bridge fan stops spinning and the Debug led doesn't stay on. Asrock techs don't speak english properly, so communication is difficult. thanks in advance!

Based on what you say here, you should RMA the board.

As far as the beeping goes, you will need to hook up your speaker for that =/

Can't see this speaker connection you're talking about. My last Mobo (780i) beeped without connecting any speakers to it. the X79 chipset fan is the one that stops spinning after boot and the debug led stops giving codes and turns off when windows is loaded. I'm using this new system right now to type this message, so I don't know what could be wrong. Also, my last mobo stopped beeping fo a while and didn't boot as a result (even the gpu didn't boot without that beep) then it started beeping and worked, so I don't know how this mobo can boot everything without giving that short beep.

if the problem is it doesnt boot then you need to connect the speaker as stated. read through your mobo manual to find where it is.

As stated in my OP, it boots and loads windows. I found out that i have to turn one the x79 fan, along with the led in my bios, so that's solved. All that's left is to figure out why it's not giving me beeps and is booting. the HD audio speaker is connected, I'm getting sound right now and been getting it since i turned on the system and installed windows 7 x64.

some mobos need an internal speaker as there's none integrated into the mobo

your mobo manual should tell you which yours is and where it's located

because you had a problem before with no beep this is not necessarily the same, the lack of beep does not mean you have a problem
