Well I just installed BitTorrent but the download is very slow,
The speed is like 0.5 - 1.5 KB a secconde ..
I'm downloading a file of 1.3 gb
My internet connection is just good and very fast but with this torrent download very slow
If I download files from like megaupload or rapidshare my speed is like 300 - 500 kb a seconde
So, do I need to do something like in the settings or what .. because this is going to take ages before it's done
While people are saying torrent downloads are very fast?
did you install normal bittorent then thats the problem, the most popular programs are azureus,bitcomet etc...... they work great and greatly increase the speed of your downloads.
ReplyDeleteThe problem isnt the Torrent client, its the amount of Seeds and Leechers that the torrent file has...leechers are fellow downloaders and seeds are people who have it downloaded and are uploading bits to others, the more seeds the faster the speed.
ReplyDeleteMy internet is 8mb, 800kbs/s, yet all the torrents i download with under 40 seeds, only gets me 40Kb/s dl, so my advice is to only download things that have ALOT of Seed's.
@ Vidoro, the torrent client doesnt change the speed of the download, ive used alot of torrent clients trying to get the best speed and the only differences i noticed was with the GUI and user compatability.
theres no seeders. Why not download warez? theres no seeder requirement there,
