    did you add the menu? I've noticed that it doesn't run automatically when your menu isnt added. It's pretty weird

    it's a tab on the program before you begin converting / burning.

    You could try burning it with nero..
    The info tool should show if it recognises the disk.
    Try Nero Express... Videos/Pictures.....DVD-Video files
