you should run chkdsk. it can only be done in regular mode.

heres some info if you need it.

    BACKUP YOUR DATA NOW !

go to samsung site and look for warranty info
if still under warranty get there instructions to RMA it and do that
it may still be under warranty if 3 yrs old and they may replace it with a "refurbished" drive
I've done this with WD & maxtor but never with SAMSUNG

    BACKUP YOUR DATA NOW !

SMART errors usualy cannot be repaired, but you can try a low level format

    so
    BACKUP YOUR DATA NOW !

A hard drives smallest addressable unit is a "Sector" which is almost always is 512 Bytes.

When you buy a new drive it comes with a number of "Spare" sectors that are not part of the total drive size.

When any sector starts having read or write errors, the bad sector is "re-mapped" to one of the spare sectors
and the data is moved to that sector.

The message you are getting is saying that you are running out of these "Spare" sectors and in short order
there will be none left! When this happens sectors that are showing errors will not be able to be "re-mapped"

Without re-mapping the sector will eventually go into a hard failure and this will cause all kinds of grief.

You can try Samsung to see if they have a program that will try and "fix" this -- but I doubt it!

Time to replace this drive -- warranty, buy new, whatever.

the words backup and replace kinda says it all.
save the stuff you can manage, and get a new disk

Run GRC's SpinRite, it may help to restore drive.

dude, the message you got was pretty clear: backup & replace. contact the manufactures by e-mail and check see if you get a new one on their warranty. where i live we have like a 5 year warranty on stuff like that, and i have changed a number of disks during the years

you can prob check via internet as well if you provide serial on disk
