» » Installing Kaspersky problem with AVG

Recently I just installed AVG 8 in my computer, it end up that I couldn't update it. It says that the connection to update server has failed.
So I uninstalled it. And I tried to install Kaspersky (I used kaspersky before.) But before it started to install, kaspersky asked me again to uninstall AVG, which I already uninstalled. I deleted the folder, and the installation program. But it still asked me to uninstall AVG..whats wrong with my computer?

    did u just delete the folder or did you use the uninstaller.
    if you did just delete the folder you need to restore it and uninstall or repair avg by using the installer

    I had the same problem with AVG, fixed it with something called "AVG Remover"

    http://www.avg.com/download-tools

    Just download the 32 or 64 bit version (Depending on what you got), run the program and try kaspersky again

    Remove the registry entries for AVG,Go to run type in regedit.Check in HKEY-Local_Machine/Software/AVG .....Also check
    HKEY_Current _User/Software/AVG
