The real name for it is called "Reduced Functionality Mode" if you do not activate it within the 30 day grace period that is what happens. You can still re-arm it a couple of times to get full functionality back, but it will eventually run out of steam again.
it's odd, i have installed it on two different pc's but from the same disc. one one of the copies, i can do the 3rd line on this link (step 4)

but on another pc, none of those rearm options work. for what reason i cannot understand.

on my sytem pagfe the product key i have displayed is : 00426-OEM-8992662-00400.
does that tell anyone anything why i can't get it activated?
on that 7 loader by the way, the instructions read 'select your oem branding' well i have a dell pc, so i select that. that's right, isn't it?
