right now i have nothing put in and have done a full reformat and reinstalled xp sp2 disc i had
it took me hours getting all my applications and everything back in order and now im getting this sudden message every few minutes weather its a pop up on deskbat or if i lockout it pops up there repeatability when i come back to the computer
windows - delay write failed (every few minutes)

It's possible your HDD is dying. I had that message with an old HDD and within a few hours it was unusable.

If, what NightmareXX says is true, then BACKUP your hard drive! Hurry! You can do an XML full drive image with DriveImageXML, or just backup your important data.

only had my computer custom build a few years ago so i dont think its gonna die that quickly
i restarted and some document was there about environment.doc or something cant remember if i tried to save it or something but kept poping up when i tried to shutdown i clicked save it couldnt then not save twice and it went away
now my pc's all find must of been something with word. as i had several of them open with no documents open in "processes" but all fixed now no problems
