i have an .avi of the Fifth Element (DVD Rip) and i want to convert it to DVD Format. The ~censored~ problem is that when i try to add files to my DVD Converter (which is Allok AVI DivX MPEG to DVD Converter), it says "unsupported file type" or "corrupted file" (But It's not corrupted!!)I have tried many other programs but they all say the same! I think : "It's .AVI and the program says "Avi to DVD Converter"

I always use VSO ConvertXToDVD with good results converting and burning.
    Search appz for this.

the program was able to read the file but (why there's always a "but"??) ...during the converting process it says (in the log") "Error while opening decoder for stream (the number sign) 0.1

    get gspot
    GSpot Codec Information Appliance

    http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

open file(s) with it and make sure you have the latest version of whatever codec(s) it ID's the file(s) as
check both audio & video (might be an AC3 audio codec problem)
