    Do you have a TV Tuner card installed in your computer?

    BTW -- just because you may have a TV out connector does NOT mean you have a TV Tuner.

    Google for "Hauppauge" -- they have a nice price range.

    Keep this in mind "good" and "cheap" are mutually exclusive.

    You can find a "good" TV Tuner card!

    OR

    You can find a "cheap" TV Tuner card!

    BUT

    A "good" AND "cheap" TV Tuner is probably out of the question.
