    walk up to your modem.

    unplug it.

    plug it back in.

    Now you are done.

    there might be a small button on the back that you push with a pen, pin, or paper clip, to reset it.

    Why even bother get up ???

    The router will have a web configuration page eg

    192.168.1.1


    Just browse to that, enter your login details and reset it from your PC.

    Press that and you will have to enter all your isp data log in and so on again just to connect

    just power router down or switch of router power or diss\reconnect phone line the only wait is untill your router adsl indicator is steady
