there are utils man, that can lock ur NIC n password protect too, I mean either the NIC properties are pass worded or the net connection itself!

n yeah there is a solution to lock internal access!

trust me they work n it is possible to block internet access n password protect it , any damn browser , appz, it may b , IT WILL B DENIED internet access
in network connections you can rt click connection to disable it, no p/w tho

then you could disable direct access to device mgr
