    it looks, like Pan & Scan > Frame Size & Position > Move Left (Num 4) + Move Up (Num 8)

    try pressing number pad 5.

    num 5 doesn't work. when the video is paused, it appears fullscreen. when the file is in play, it's like in the picture.
    also I don't want it to appear in the middle but to extend to fit my whole screen keeping aspect ratio of my original file of course.

    Have numlock turned on and press the . (del) key on numpad. It will cycle through the window frame modes. Just a guess it would work.

    right click -> Screen Controls -> Keep video frame to -> Window Size
    i dint test this.. give it a try
