num 5 doesn't work. when the video is paused, it appears fullscreen. when the file is in play, it's like in the picture. also I don't want it to appear in the middle but to extend to fit my whole screen keeping aspect ratio of my original file of course. thanks for reply anyway bro

Have numlock turned on and press the . (del) key on numpad. It will cycle through the window frame modes. Just a guess it would work.

On Screen Right Click > Video Frame > Override Aspect Ratio
