Have got a Western Dig 500gig Hard Drive, have just turned it back on and my pc does not reconise it as a USB device, when I double click the hard drive I get drive not formatted, format yes-no.
Why,Does this mean Ive lost all my music on there!! 400 gig worth!!

do not try to repair it just yet as you might overwrite somrthing
