i can't burn anything to disk! i can't reformat coz i can't burn anything to disk. Nero won't work and coping and pasting files onto a black DVD does not work either! Shocked
Plz help me i dunno what is going on.
P.S. have done spyware scans (spyware doctor) and no virus was found so i dunno what is going on.
first start by uninstalling and then reinstalling nero, if that does not work, get to us and we'll take it from there.

is your dvd-drive working properly, try to play a music cd in it, to see if it plays ok. Maybe just maybe it can be the simplist thing that causes the problems, like a fried drive.

LOL! Yes i have a DVD Drive and burner. It is a DVD-RW but i am not so sure about the brand as i got my computer Custom built but did not specify what Drive brand i wanted.
I have no idea! Sorry lol.
Gogens: Using the nero info tool. It detected my Pioneer DVD-RW and it also detected my black DVD-R disk that i inserted. It showed that it had 4 gig of space as well. So i dunno what is going on to tell you the truth.
I will try to burn something later. If it doesn't work i will try a different brand disk. If it still doesn't work then i dunno what i will do. I need to back up before i reformat but i can't back up atm so......owell with a bit of luck it'll work.
I just worked out i can burn after all. I wondered why i could burn an ISO but not add files....so i worked out that it is a prob with my nero express and normal windows copying. I dunno why but i can add files to the disk using the more advanced way (not express). I still can't work it out but i can burn now so i am happy
