I need to reformat a laptop but dont have any hardware drivers for it. I was wondering if there is any way to extract the drivers off of the laptop before the reformat and os install and is it possible to then reinstall them afterwards?

    Most drivers are freeware. Note down the names of everything and search them on google. However, there is a program that does this for you

    Here's my favorite driver back-up program. It can create self-extracting (exe) files, and it sorts the files out into folder names according to the driver name. You can also reinstall using the program again.
