Winrar extracting problem

i downloaded a blu ray version of charlie and the chocolate factory. 10 links and the total size is 8gb. I have all the rar files on my pc. Anyway when i go to extract it my pc just go mad, its start lagging. I have a decent computer which runs quite good, hard drive is 320gb n memory is 3gb ram.

Help with BF BC2 beta key

I just got myself the Beta version of BF BC2 with a working beta key.<br /><br />All went smooth and fine untill I pressed the join game button. It went into the loading screen, than loaded (I could hear the sounds from the server, people playing and stuff) than it just got stuck in the loading screen and after a while it crashed.<br /><br /><br />I don't get it, I can run GTA IV and Crysis on medium but I can't run this?

Unlock Hard Drive

So, as part of my daily use tool collection, I have programs that will read/write the CMOS to flush pesky BIOS passwords, and programs that will wipe clean any password on Windows (from 98-Vista). Both require either CD or floppy that can be booted from.<br /><br />A couple weeks back I attempted to crack a HDD password for a client. Since I couldn't find any good resources online (for a SATA hard drive), I just traded him out; my 80 gig Sata for his locked 160 gig sata. So far I have failed miserably trying to make it usable again. I'm not interested in the data on it, so any solution that may even format the drive would work...I'm just not sure how to tackle the problem. I have an external usb sata adapter which loads it, but naturally doesn't allow access (as the password is stored in the firmware). Initially it came from some Dell Inspiron laptop (3.5" HDD).<br /><br />I have a couple questions about how to handle this:<br />1) Are there any good programs to crack HD password via USB?<br />2) ...Or does it need to be connected internally to a laptop that lets you input the password?

CFQ trojan - Solution

Unzipped a file.. loaded the file in.. a clean .exe..<br />A few hours later avast is telling me the the unzipped install file is affected with a Win32:small-CFQ trojan..<br /><br />Note interesting enough.. not the actual program install.. that is clean..<br />Just the actual install file.. from the zip..<br />Anyway.. deleted the file..<br />next day.. more exe files started showing up as infected.. (seems to be a trait of the Win32:small-CFQ trojan)..<br /><br />problem of course.. is that Avast is deleting tons of files now.. and of as today.. it got a little out of control... I had to do a boot time scan.. and it deleted helps of files that have become infected..<br /><br />Anyway.. the other night I did run Malawarebytes.. over night and it picked up a few things.. but looks like it didnt kill it.. (I didnt run it in windows safe mode.. might do that tonight)..<br /><br />I have downloaded the new avast 5 just incase it was avast 4.8 playing up.. but that was this morning. and this afternoon it really had a spaze.. with the boot time scan..<br /><br />also note.. I just tried to run a scan with Avast in "safe" mode.. but seems the new version doesn't like Xp safe mode and wont run.. humm.. seems a lite worrisome for future problems..<br /><br />I cant seem to get too much info out of Google on killing this little sucker.. as did a hunt and got the usual drivel<br /><br />http://www.exterminate-it.com/malpedia/remove-trojandropper-win32-small-cf

Computer blue screens, then restarts

Basically, after a while on the computer, my computer will suddenly freeze up, blue screen, then restart. I've tried using advanced system optimizer to clean out all the crap, virus scanners, malware scanners etc etc. After, they always seem to work for a while, but before I know it, it's restarted and theirs nothing I can do.<br /><br />I can't even note down what blue screen it is. When I send an error report, Microsoft website says it's a driver problem, so I don't know if that helps atall.<br /><br />Please help with any solutions, they will all be appreciated. I can't system restore either because I don't know how long it's been present, quite a while really.

i just got my ipod touch 8GB and i want to jailbreak it, i was told to use the blackra1n up but im having problems, first i had a missing dll "qtcf.dll" and then i put it in the system32 dir and it didnt work so then i was told to put it in the same dir as blackra1n.exe so i did that and now im getting a new error "The procedure entry point QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in the dynamic link library QTCF.dll." and i cant get it to work.

Computer won't start,asks to enter in safe mode but restarts

Black screen (black screen of death) upon start up, computer won't run, help?<br /><br />I got this issue after an unfortunate power cut, the system started up but then restarted again unexpectedly, after that i got this 'black screen of death'. windows - delay write failed (every few minutes)

right now i have nothing put in and have done a full reformat and reinstalled xp sp2 disc i had<br /><br /><br />it took me hours getting all my applications and everything back in order and now im getting this sudden message every few minutes weather its a pop up on deskbat or if i lockout it pops up there repeatability when i come back to the computer
