i purchased Vista Premium edition.. it periodically freezes and I can only hit the restart button or shut it off. Here its what im running. I have searched many places and havent found a specific reason. Any suggestions? Here are my specs

    I suggest to format your drive where you installed vista ( C:/ ) and re install it Wink

    update or clean install of vista

    home built ?

    did you install mfg drivers for vid & aud of just MS update

    can you make it freeze or it's random

    is there a bios update for MOBO avalable

    yeah they are right. u better format your drive first so 1 u know that its completely clean of syware and ~love~ and 2 it will work:D! and ow, u arent stupid;)

    got it to stop freezing. I had an external device hooked up via USB cable.... I unhooked the USB and installed it internally and no more freezes.... KNOCK ON WOOD! heehe thanks for all the help though
