i have used google but to no avail, i just seem to get contradicting answers. A Barebone PC is a pc with no OS or software? Or is it a PC with just a motherboard and the stuff required to turn the machine on etc (not much ram, no graphics card, integrated sound card..)
Don't know where you are finding these "barebones" laptops -- but once a laptop leaves the factory
ReplyDeletethere is not much you can add or change.
Obviousely, you can change the OS --- but anything else is dependent upon the individual laptop.
So what can be changed on one laptop may not be changed on another.
There are sites like tigerdirect.com that have "build to order" laptops but these allow minimal changes
such as OS - add more RAM - select a HDD.
This is not like a desktop barebones which usually just has a case - PSU - MOBO - CPU --- and you add
everything else.
Do you have a link for where you are seeing these "barebones" laptops???
