Well burnt the ISO and who knows if I did it right. I give up, just wasting my time probably.

Removing the wrong things can cause big problems if your PC requires them. I have been working on a CD for some days. I kept getting unknown devices that could not be identified or updated. I found I had removed the ports hardware support which had been causing all the trouble.

Getting .Net installed and working can be difficult, many of the .Net packages do not work properly. I got it working once but I cannot remember which ones I used ( I have quite a few on my hdd)

I would recommend you get an install working, with a few of the most needed programs and them image the partition. That saves a lot of time and trouble and can be restored in a few minutes. Using Hirens Boot CD and Acronis imaging software will do it. After one install you should never have to go through the trouble again. Just restore the partition when you need a new install and all your settings and customizations will be done. You will need only to install the rest of the software after a partition restore.
