I downloaded PS CS2. Tried to put Clouds as a Render. Have to wait about 5min to integrate the Render correctly. Tried to Download Photshop 7.0. Same problem.
I have a AMD Athlon 3000+ 1GB Ram and a 7600GT. My old Celeron with 256MB Ram and Intel Video was faster.

is your PS temp file on the same physical drive as PS
No other speed problems. No file opening. This happens when I try to apply a Filter.
