I just bought a phat PSP , its untouched and no modifications have been made to it, I wanted to turn it into a homebrew psp by installing 3.52 M33
I had put all the kxploitpatcher folders and required files in the mem. card (which i have read in a topic here in warezbb)
but when i put the card in PSP and run the kxploit patcher it says
"8002014C" "the game could not be started"
Can somebody please help me in installing the 3.9 firmware in it
and explain my why is that error popping up
Do you have a pandora battery, coz if you don't have one, you won't be able to downgrade...
ReplyDeletets simple you cant, you will need to downgrade your psp to 1.50 firmware first.
ReplyDeleteThere's no need to run kxploitpatcher on SE/OE firmwares. It's only for 1.50 firmwares.
btw do you have 3.40e-a right? then the psp is already hacked, unless the E at the end is a typo.

Point installer towards the root of your MS, and transfer files. When done, launch under the 3.03 kernel. (Blue space icon) There is no need to use the creator. This is the created file for 3.52 M33 UPDATE.
Read through the info. When it's done, reboot. When you reboot, download this:

Same install instructions as before. When done, launch from XMB. (3:33:33 icon)
When you reboot, you are done. You can go to 3.71 M33 or 3.80 M33, 3.90 M33 if you want.

howerver if you dont have wifi internet then you will need to manually download 3.80.
(note this is the official 3.80 but is requires to update to 3.90m33, the installer above will connect to the internet and download it for you)

read the readme and install, if you do not have wifi internet for your psp you will need to rename eboot to 3.90.
