Is directX 10 install on my PC, or do i need Vista? and how do i check if DirectX 10 is installed or not?, where can i find DirectX 10?

You need Vista to get DirectX 10, there's no update for XP.
ReplyDelete- Click Start-->Run
- Enter dxdiag
This will tell you what version you have.
You will need Vista for DirectX 10.
ReplyDeleteThere are some stupid guys that post DirectX 10 for XP, but they havent tested it themselves even..
I`m almost sure you have DirectX 9.0c, but if you do as THoL says you`ll be sure..
I have seen that directx 10 is not much better then 9 for now. And for example Crysis needs the directx 10 to run in very high but u can edit some files so that low becomes normal, normal becomes high and high becomes very high. So u actualy dont need directx 10 for now...
