Dual boot with xp and vista question I put vista on partition2 and xp on partition1.When I boot it goes to vista by default unless I choose earlier windows version and press enter.Is there a way to make xp the default choice?so far I hate vista
right-click on "my Computer", select "Properties"

click on the "Advanced" tab
under "startup and recovery" click "settings"
under "default Operating System" choose "Earlier Version Of Windows"
