it can't be done. you have to have a dial up connection or scan it and e-mail it. hook up your old ass dial up and start running it. lol, aside from that my parents asked me this a while back and we got dsl to get rid of dial slow ass up. and yea you need to dial a connection for a fax to work. Scan it and e-mail it much cheaper and easier anyways. if its gotta be faxed goto the library maybe they have 1. or a netcafe. Hopefully they have em? lol well GoodLuck, if you can figure out how to do this I'd like to know also.

Ok, this is the run ..... You have to have a Fax software and you have to be On-line when you're faxing. So ..... go to Google, type something like "fax software" and check what websites are providing it. Find a free faxing prog (they are all good, in essence they are very simple programs so even the free ones are good). Download it, install it, read a little HELP info on how to use it and that's it.

Fax progs are really simple stuff .... all you do is type the text in your notepad and save it as a text file. Then open the fax-proggy, click on OPEN icon (to load the text file you want to send), then punch the phone number in the dialup keypad provided on the screen .... that's it! Your text will be faxed to the phone number you punched in. You can also use the Windows built-in Word instead of the Notepad. Here you'll be able to type text and insert pics/photos/graphics in between the text and all that .... then send that file with the fax-proggy. It's just a basic explanation just to give you some idea.

you said it randomly happens, so by chance is someone else recieving internet from your router? because I can steal all of my internets speed with my wireless. Settings on their computer could have made them the lead force behind it and they can take it out of your hands through downloading / uploading big files.
