did you try plugging it in another computer to see if it works? that does sound strange, maybe it got corrupted.
ReplyDeleteare u sure u bought the correct piece ? not fake.
ReplyDeletecos there are lot of FAKE 8 GB Sony flash drives in market.
Infact many pendrives also say they are 8 GB, but when u actually try to use it they are like 1 or 2 GB , but still the capacity is shown in explorer it s 8 GB + the product package might also say its 8GB, but some a$$holes have modified the 1 or 2 GB flash drives to make it look like in windows tha's its 8 GB or so , rather its 1 or 2 GB,
might be this is ur issue.
get the drive checked or replaced
or call SONY, tell them abt the issue.
ask them, whether this model number, serial number flash drive is from their production or not.
tell them that u might b faked out.
n how to take it on now.
lemme know what happens
Have you tried it with a nother computer ?
ReplyDeleteI think first solution is format the pen drive if you can.
ReplyDeleteuse at own risk
