Whats the format for VCD's and SVCD's?

can an AVI, WMV, RMVB or MPEG work in a regular DVD player when burned to a VCD or SVCD?

and what format do u burn on VCD's and SVCD's

try convertxtodvd I think you can switch the regions options and it will burn it in vcd's svcd's. as in europe under tv format. not quite sure haven't looked in a while.

you know tv format is for what type of tv it plays on eg pal or ntsc? this isnt the same as svcd and vcd
