I was dual booting Vista and XP. I created a seperate 15gb partition of my 250gb hard drive for it. When i booted the computer i chose which os i want. I used Noton partition magic to delete the partition but when i start up i still get the os choice screen. How do i get rid of this so it automatically boots to xp?

You could try: start>all programs>accessories>systemtools>disk cleanup?

    1. Have the Vista ISO in a virtual drive/DVD in a real drive
    2. Start WinXP
    3. Start -> Run -> Type "“e:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force” (without quotes, and replacing e: with the drive letter of your Vista DVD)
    4. Restart, and watch as your computer boots directly into XP

This worked for me, and I had 32bit XP Pro SP2 and 32bit Vista Ultimate Retail.
