i have an .avi of the Fifth Element (DVD Rip) and i want to convert it to DVD Format. The ~censored~ problem is that when i try to add files to my DVD Converter (which is Allok AVI DivX MPEG to DVD Converter), it says "unsupported file type" or "corrupted file" (But It's not corrupted!!)I have tried many other programs but they all say the same! DVD session not closing ! Plz help..

I am having probs closing DVD sessions on my LG-GSA 4167B DVD burner.<br /><br />I tried Nero first but it gave an error and the system seems to freeze. I used Okoker CD/DVD burner to write . It worked perfectly but in the end, it freezes during the closing session time.<br /><br />Any tool to close the sessions on the DVD so that the files are visible in Windows Explorer and I dont have to use Isobuster ?<br /><br />I have tried burning on 4x speeds too , it still happens<br /><br />PC Specs : winxp sp2 , 512MB

AVI Skipping when played on DVD Player

This has been going on with about 60% of my AVI movies and I'm SICK of it! I have a DVD player that handles Divx / AVI format, which makes it real convenient for me because I can usually just dump some AVI movies on a DVD and pop it in my player and watch it. The problem is that over half of the time I get a disc full of movies that skip, stutter and sometimes totally drop out of play.<br /><br />So now I am looking for a solution to this problem. I have used several burning programs over the years, so I can't say it's that (currently using Prassi Ones). I have had a number of DVD writers and it has persisted throughout. What does one do to ensure that the movies on the disc will play properly in a DVD player? They play perfectly on my PC - but screw up when I try to play on the DVD player. Thanks in advance for your help.

Windows Vista Error

I had cucusoft iPod video converter installed on a laptop (Toshiba Satellite Pro) and all was going fine.<br /><br />I got a newer version of cucusoft and installed (including patched) it on the laptop, but didn't uninstall the old version.<br /><br />After this the laptop wouldn't play .avi files and cucusoft kept crashing.<br /><br />I tried system restore which brought everything back to normal but everytime i installed cucusoft it would have the same effect.<br /><br />After doing this a few times I realised that when I tried to patch the new version, I "copied" the files into the wrong cucusoft folder i.e. the old version that I should have installed.<br /><br />Unfortunately i have since uninstalled this program and so the files are deleted. I tried to install a few registry cleaners but they keep crashing now also!<br /><br />And to make matters worse system restore wont work anymore either?<br /><br />It's a brand new laptop and i dont need anything on it, so is there any way I can get it back to the way that it was when I bought it?<br /><br />I have heard of reinstalling windows but don't know how to and would i need the cd that came with the laptop to do that?

Well I burn a lot of dvd movies, but i cant seem to find a good program that lets me burn one, ive downloaded Nero 8 so many times, but every time i try to burn a movie, i get this license is illegal or some ~love~. so ive tried so many different things people have told me to try to bypass that, but nothing works. HDD help

I just installed my other sata Hdd on my computer. but im sure im missing one crucial step cause when i startup my computer the bios sees my samsung Hdd, but when i go to the my computer section it doesnt show up at all. is there a jumper i need to set in the motherboard or do something in the bios screen? I have a Gigabyte motherboard with two pairs of sata Samsung Hdd's. I noticed in the bios screen they both appear to be master mode. im sure this is where my problem is. can someone help?

Tv card sound problem

I recently got a hauppauge-HVR-1100 tv card and I am having some issues with it. I turn on a channel and it works fine then after about 5 seconds the sound goes and I have to change channel to get the sound back but then the same thing happens. Ive checked my connections plenty of times and updated the drivers for the tv card - all to no success. However, I did get it working perfectly this evening for 2 hours but then it started doing it again. Could anyone suggest something? Im about to update my sound card drivers but I doubt that will have much affect.

Pc locks up when gaming

Basically, playing a game (call of duty 2/4) - my pc will randomly lock up - no repeated sounds/flickering screen, no pattern/obvious reason why. No keyboard shortcuts work - have to hit the reset button.<br /><br /><br />System specs are in my sig<br /><br />*Have updated Direct X<br />*Have run a RAM check - all fine<br />*Have run a cpu stress test - all fine<br />*Have run a gfx card stress test - all fine<br />*Have upgraded my psu to 700w (from 500w) - still have the problem<br />*Have reinstalled Call of duty 4 - twice (once on external hard disk)<br />*Have checked temperatures - nothing unusual<br />*Have tried putting my cpu clock back to normal - no change<br /><br />Im all out of ideas

Resizing Partitions of Windows XP Home Edition

I want to resize the partitions of my computer, the hard drive has two partitions. C drive is a 15GB partition with 4GB free space, D drive is 94GB partition with 30GB of free space. I want to transfer free space into my C partition from my D drive. For as much as i try theres no way to stop the C drive from getting full, Windows Updates take up like 8GBs of it lol My copy is legit and its from a Sony Vaio desktop computer. I dont want to reformat hard drive for i will loose my legit copy, i do not have Windows XP cd. I know there cracked Windows here but its Windows XP professional... I just wanna resize the hard drive by taking 10GB from D drive and adding them to C drive so it can then have 14gb of free space.<br /><br />I tried using Nortons PartitionMagic on a version of Windows XP professional that i have running on Vmware Workstation 6. It failed at resizing and gave me errors. This could of been cuz its virtual hard disk? But it scared me and i dont wanna try on my real hard drive yet.<br /><br />Any help with this will be appreciated!!!

PSP 3.4OE Problem ??

I just bought a phat PSP , its untouched and no modifications have been made to it, I wanted to turn it into a homebrew psp by installing 3.52 M33<br />I had put all the kxploitpatcher folders and required files in the mem. card (which i have read in a topic here in warezbb)<br />but when i put the card in PSP and run the kxploit patcher it says<br />"8002014C" "the game could not be started"<br /><br />Can somebody please help me in installing the 3.9 firmware in it<br />and explain my why is that error popping up

I downloaded the Gamesload version of Rainbow Six Lockdown and have it installed and cracked successfully on this computer. I went to install it on my other PC and I accidently ran it before installing the crack. So now, I'm assuming it added registy entries to prevent it from being cracked.
